Rev. P. Wonder Harris, former pastor of the Spring Hill Baptist Church of Booneville, Mississippi, was extended a call to pastor Mt. Zion in August 1986.  He assumed the pastorate on August 17, 1986, and was installed on November 30, 1986.  He is the longest-serving shepherd of Mt. Zion, having currently served 38 years. 

Pastor Harris is a leader and innovative thinker and has consistently raised the standard of the Mt.
